Support Group for Survivors of Sexual Abuse
Mama na Dada runs this program in Nairobi, for young girls who have been
sexually abused. The girls’ support group has become a
safe place for personal development and psychological support. We
refer such survivors to the Nairobi Women’s Hospital, for clinical
treatment.
The organization seeks to strengthen this approach to include income generating activities linkages for the older girls to reduce transactional sex.
