Mama na Dada is now able to accommodate several volunteers
at a time to bring their positive intentions, skills, and supportive
energy to our programs at Mama na Dada in Kunya village. Karibu! We
welcome you!
In cooperation with the Seattle, Washington, USA based organization, "Village Volunteers", we are part of a consortium with three other villages in Kenya to which Village Volunteers sends individuals like you, who are committed to sharing the work of local communities and furthering the cause of compassionate global citizenry. Village Volunteers has a positive, culturally sensitive approach which is one of consideration, kindness, and a commitment to human rights. They will work with you to help you plan and prepare for your volunteer experience. They have a fantastic orientation, well thought out materials that will be extremely valuable and essential for your positive experience.
We are in close contact with the staff of Village volunteers and look forward to working together with you and them to explore your interest in volunteering with our programs. Everyone has something to offer, whether it be professional skill in the field of health care, or real-life skills in the daily care of children. Together with Village volunteers we can explore your interests, expertise, and desires, and create a plan that will be mutually beneficial, and deeply rewarding.
